The Ladysmith Players are presenting The Mousetrap by Agatha Christie, the world’s longest running play, still running in London. The Mousetrap has lost none of its form. Indeed, the reputation of this murder mystery masterpiece goes from strength to strength as new generations of theatre goers are tricked and teased by a plot with more twists than a really twisty thing!
A group of people gathered in a remote part of the countryside discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst. Who can it be? One by one the suspicious characters reveal their sordid pasts until at the last, nerve-shredding moment the identity and the motive are finally revealed. The Mousetrap runs from September 16 to October 3, 2010, with matinees on Sundays, September 26 and October 3. Doors open at noon, lunch is served at 12:30 pm, and the show begins at 2 pm. Matiness tickets are $30 for lunch and the show or $20 for the show only. Evenings performances are on Thursdays, September 23 and 30, Fridays, September 17, 24 and October 1, Saturdays September 18, 25 and October 2, with the doors opening at 6 pm, dinner at 6:30 pm, and the show at 8:30 pm.
