Changes at Ladysmith Theatre

Lady Smith’s Little Theatre has changed its name to the Ladysmith Theatre and co-founders Judi and Terry Whittaker are retiring. The theatre’s Marketing Director Marie Witt says: “Although Judi and Terry will be truly missed, their commitment to providing our community with quality theatre will carry on in the hands of the many volunteers who continue to dedicate their hard work.” Witt reports that the theatre has plans to introduce a new website and new online ticket purchasing options. The old website www.ladysmiththeatre.com is currently down but should be back soon

The board of Ladysmith Theatre is optimistic about the upcoming 2009/2010 season. As part of an ambitious and exciting show line-up, Ladysmith arts patrons can look forward to a diverse selection of stories for the entire family including touching dramas, mysteries, comedies, and a traditional Christmas Pantomime. The season kicks off with “Stella” running October 8 to 18, 2009.

The Ladysmith Theatre is at 4985 Christie Road on the north side of Ladysmith, BC.
